September 17, 2020 - Center High School announces the 2020 Homecoming Court.

Homecoming Queen Candidates are:

Support the CHS Junior Class Prom with a Spirit T-Shirt Purchase

September 18, 2020 - Parents of the CHS Junior Class are selling Roughrider shirts to raise money for Prom. Shirts are $20 each. T-shirts are purple with "RIDERS" printed across the chest.

Deadline to order is September 25.

Please turn your order form into the front office of your school with payment. Make checks payable to CHS Junior Class.

September 17, 2020 - A Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Center ISD will be held September 17, 2020, beginning at 12 noon in the Center Independent School District Administration Boardroom 107 PR 605 Center, TX 75935.

Center Homecoming Game Ticket Sales Information

September 15, 2020 - The Center Varsity team will play Chapel Hill at Roughrider stadium for their homecoming on Friday, September 18, 2020. The following ticket information applies:

***All tickets are pre-sale***
No ticket sales at gates
$5 per ticket regardless of age

You may purchase tickets at Center High School Athletic Office as follows:

Families of school participants only (Varsity football, chaparrals, cheer, and band)

Center ISD Reports More COVID-19 Cases on Campuses

September 14, 2020 - Center ISD Little Rider Academy, Middle School and High School campuses have reported positive COVID-19 cases. In response to these occurences, Center ISD has issued letters to parents, guardians and staff members regarding the cases:

September 4, 2020 - Center ISD Middle School and High School campuses have reported two more positive COVID-19 cases. In response to these occurences, Center ISD has issued letters to parents, guardians and staff members regarding the cases:

Monday and Tuesday- 8am to 4:30pm
Families of school participants only (varsity football, chaparrals, cheer, & band) – up 4 tickets per participant

Wednesday through Friday- general admission
Wednesday & Thursday- 8am to 4:30 pm
Friday- 8am to noon

September 4, 2020 - All campuses of Center ISD have reported instances of either positive COVID-19 cases, or symptomatic individuals. In response to these occurences, Center ISD has issued letters to parents, guardians and staff members regarding the cases:

Center ISD Statement on Flag, National Anthem Reverence

September 3, 2020 - The flag of the United States of America is a symbol for our nation. It stands for our shared history, the union of our fifty states, and embodies, self-sacrifice, hardiness, valor, purity, innocence, vigilance, perseverance, and justice.

The Center ISD Board of Trustees and administration believes in these ideals whole-heartedly and that proper reverence is demonstrated by standing when we pledge allegiance to our flag and while singing our national anthem. This will not change.
