Excelsior PTO Announces 2019-2020 Officers

May 15, 2019 - The Excelsior PTO met in the library on May 7th for its end of the year meeting. Brag tag trips, scholarships, and graduation were among its agenda items.

Election of officers for 2019-2020 was Gabby West, President; Barbara Scates, 1st Vice President; Alice Howard, 2nd Vice President; Candyce Wagnon, Secretary; and Leslie Schulz, Treasurer.

The Excelsior PTO meets once a month during the school year. All family members are encouraged to attend the meetings.

April 16, 2019 - Excelsior students in second, third, and fourth grades are participating in the Texas Reads One Book program. Excelsior superintendent, Mr. Johnny Lewis, joined the students for the kick off celebration on Monday, April 15.

March 6, 2019 - Excelsior ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019. The 2017-18 Annual Performance Report/TAPR will be discussed during the hearing and input from the community, parents, taxpayers and general public are welcomed.

March 1, 2019 - On Friday, March 1, Excelsior 2nd & 3rd grade students celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with cookies and fun activities.
