March 11, 2019 - Excelsior Pre-K through 5th grade participated in a vocabulary parade on Friday, March 8, 2019. The students had a great time while enriching their vocabulary knowledge.

March 6, 2019 - Excelsior ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019. The 2017-18 Annual Performance Report/TAPR will be discussed during the hearing and input from the community, parents, taxpayers and general public are welcomed.

Excelsior Celebrates Dr. Seuss's Birthday

March 1, 2019 - On Friday, March 1, Excelsior 2nd & 3rd grade students celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with cookies and fun activities.

Texas Historical Marker for Excelsior Common School No. 47 Dedication, Reunion

February 20, 2019 - The State of Texas has declared Excelsior Common School No. 47 a historical site as Excelsior School has been in existence for over 120 years!

A Spring Dedication Ceremony for the unveiling of the marker and an Excelsior Alumni reunion is planned for February 23, 2019. The program will begin at 11am; however, there will be fellowship in the Excelsior gym starting at 10am with a slide show of Excelsior School history.

Excelsior Perfect Attendance, Honor Roll for 3rd Six Weeks

February 7, 2019 - Excelsior congratulates the following students for achieving perfect attendance and for maintaining an '80 and above' or '90 and above' grade point average for the honor roll.

Excelsior ISD to Host School Spelling Bee

January 10, 2019 - We are proud to announce the Excelsior ISD School Spelling Bee! The Spelling Bee will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 9am in the Excelsior School gym. We are excited to demonstrate the spelling skills these students have acquired and look forward to the academic competition.

Excelsior ISD Fine Arts Program

December 5, 2018 - Please join Excelsior ISD on December 18, 2018 at 6pm as they present their annual Music Concert and Art Showing. Pre-K through 8th grade will be singing and playing hand bells from music from years past and present.

Grades 1 through 8 will be displaying various pieces of art from throughout the year.

Cookies and punch will be served. Photo backdrops will also be available for any photos you would like to take. You never know who might decide to pop in for a visit.
