August 5, 2022 - With schools starting back in early August, parents are preparing their students for the new year!
Below is a list of helpful links for supply lists and school calendars. Fortunately, this school year the supply lists are much shorter as many of the schools are providing general classroom supplies during the 2022-2023 year such as pens, pencils, markers, scissors, rulers, tissue and other items that will be replenished as needed.
July 26, 2022 - The Excelsior ISD has announced it will continue its policy to operate the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program for the 2022-2023 school year. Schools qualifying to operate CEP serve breakfast and lunch to all children at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. This approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals.
June 20, 2022 - In an effort to alleviate some of the stress and expense of purchasing school supplies, Excelsior ISD has decided to purchase every students' basic back-to-school supplies. This service will be for the 2022-2023 school year only.
Parents will be asked to provide their child a backpack.
Nap Mats will be provided for Pre-K and Kindergarten, but students will need to bring a blanket and pillow.
No snacks of any kind will be provided.
The first day of school is Monday, August 22, 2022.
April 28, 2022 - The Excelsior School Fine Arts Department presents a 2022 Spring Celebration, "Back to the '70s, with Love," at 6:30pm Thursday, April 28, 2022. The art show is curated by Nancy Dickerson and the musical production is directed by Tim Verner.
