January 14, 2022 - Due to the number of active COVID-19 cases affecting our staff and students and in an effort to mitigate the potential for significant spread among our Excelsior Family, we will be closing our campus of Excelsior ISD for the beginning of next week. This closure will provide for the safety of our students and staff; as well as to make certain that we have appropriate staff available for the campus.

September 14, 2021 - The Coca-Cola Scholarship application is available to all qualified high school seniors!
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation believes that investing in students who are leaders, both academically and in service to others, will result in positive, lasting change and sustainable communities.
Know a high school senior who fits the bill?
Encourage them to apply to be a Coke Scholar by October 31, 2021, at 5pm Eastern and receive one of 150 college scholarships worth $20,000 through the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.

July 28, 2021 - Excelsior ISD announced its policy today that this school year, healthy meals will be offered every school day to all students at no cost. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year. Each school/site or central office has a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed upon request.
May 12, 2021 - Excelsior ISD introduces their 8th Grade Graduates for the Class of 2021.
8th grade graduates are Valedictorian Victoria King, Salutatorian Jaxon Williams, Historian Brian McDonald, Larkin Sears, Katelyn Bentley, Zane Griffith, Stephen Bentley, and Abbi Smith. Congratulations graduates!
