September 24, 2021 - According to the Texas DSHS Covid-19 Dashboard, 11 new cases, 2 new deaths, and 21 estimated recoveries were reported today. The higher number of recoveries continues to lower the estimated active cases which is now 164.

September 24, 2021 - The water on N.E.W. WSC no longer requires boiling.
On September 19, 2021, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the N.E.W. Water Supply, #2030034, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
September 23, 2021 - According to the Texas DSHS Covid-19 Dashboard, 4 new cases and 29 estimated recoveries were reported today. The higher number of recoveries than new cases helped to lower the estimated active cases to 174.

September 23, 2021 - According to the Texas DSHS Covid-19 Dashboard, the combined numbers of Monday through Wednesday show 29 new cases, 1 new death, and 45 estimated recoveries. Of the new cases, 0 were reported on September 20th, 10 were reported on September 21st, and 19 were reported on September 22nd.
The number of active cases is now 199.

September 22, 2021 - Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department reports at 1:25am on Wednesday, September 22nd, the fire department was dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 600 block of East Saddle Street in Joaquin.
