Boil Water Notice for Choice Water System Rescinded (Updated)

February 25, 2020 - On February 22, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Choice public water system, 2100005 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Bellmyer Announces Bridge Closure Due to Weather (Updated 12:26, Feb 13)

February 13, 2020 - Tom Bellmyer, Commissioner Precinct 4, states the bridge on CR 4323 is now open once again.

February 12, 2020 - Tom Bellmyer, Commissioner Precinct 4, has announced the closure of a bridge located on CR 4323 at Risinger Creek due to high water.

Barricades are in place and the bridge will be closed overnight with the expectation of being re-opened in the morning.

18-wheelers Now Clear of Nacogdoches Street in Center (Update)

February 12, 2020 - (Update: 2:11pm): The trucks are now clear of the roadway and traffic is contuing as it currently has been under circumstances of construction.
