May 30, 2019 - The Jury that was summoned for Monday, June 3, 2019, for the 273rd District Court, Honorable James A. Payne, Jr. presiding, has been cancelled.
All cases scheduled have been resolved or passed.
Anyone receiving a jury summons for this day is released until the receive a future summons.
May 30, 2019 - (Update): Commissioner Bellmyer announces as of 4:17pm, Thursday CR 4020 has been re-opened for general use.
May 30, 2019 - Precinct 4 Commissioner Tom Bellmyer reports the bridge on CR 4020 which is approximately 1.25 miles off of Hwy 87 is temporarily closed for repairs. The bridge is broke down and repairs are currently being made.
Bellmyer said he hopes to have repairs completed and the bridge open by this Saturday.
May 30, 2019 - The West Shelby Volunteer Fire Department responded to a hay roll on fire in a hay meadow Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 6:26pm on County Road 1171 with a tanker truck and two grass trucks.

On May 23, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the San Augustine Rural Public Water System, #2030007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
May 24, 2019 - On May 19, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the McClelland public water system, TX 2100011, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
