May 15, 2023 - The Lady Dragons Softball team defeated Joaquin Lady Rams in the Regional Qtr. Finals on Saturday, May 13, 2023. They will play in the Softball Regional Semifinals in The best of 3 series: Vs Hawkins

June 2, 2025 - In accordance with 34 CFR 300.573 Destruction of Information, Shelbyville ISD Special Services will destroy the special education records of students whose last date of service was prior to 2019. This destruction of records will take place on or after August 1, 2025.

May 2, 2023 - Shelbyville High School Senior Scholarship awards will be May 12 at 1:30 pm in the gymnasium.

April 25, 2023 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2023-2024 school year must request transfer no later than June 1, 2023. This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.

April 19, 2023 - S.W. Carter Elementary announces the students who achieved an 80 and above or 90 and above average to make the Honor Roll for the 5th Six Weeks of 2022-2023 school year.
