June 13, 2023 - Shelbyville ISD is offering rolls of used synthetic turf for sale to the public for a limited time (this sale ends Thursday June 22, 2023). Each roll will cost $50 (rolls vary in size), with a limit of two rolls per purchase during this initial offering. June 1, 2023 - Shelbyville ISD congratulates the 2022-2023 Service Awards recipients and retirees. Each retiree was presented with their own rocking chair as is tradition on May 31, 2023.

May 15, 2023 - Shelbyville High School introduces the graduating class of 2023. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 7pm on Friday, May 26 in the main gym.

May 23, 2023 - Shelbyville ISD sophomore, Kaylin Miller, is a double state medalist after she competed on May 17 at the 2023 U.I.L. State Meet in Austin.
