May 9, 2022 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Shelbyville Independent School District will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, beginning at 6pm, in the Board Room of the Shelbyville Independent School District at 5322 St. Hwy 87 South, Shelbyville, Texas.

May 3, 2022 - The Shelbyville ISD Board of Trustees election will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Due to the state constitutional amendment election held on the same day, we are required by law to hold a joint election with the county. The school board election will NOT be held at the administration office. 

April 27, 2022 - S.W. Carter Elementary announces the students who achieved perfect attendance for the 5th Six Weeks of the 2021-2022 school year.

April 25, 2022 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2022-2023 school year must request transfer no later than June 1, 2022. This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.

April 20, 2022 - Shelbyville High School Regional Track Qualifiers. The  Regional Track Meet will be held  April 29-30 at Palestine High School.
