August 22, 2022 - Meet the Dragons will be Monday, August 22nd at 6pm in the Gym. Also, the Elysian Fields game on September 9th is now scheduled to be a 7:30 kickoff.
August 17, 2022 - The Texas Education Agency (TEA) released accountability rating grades for districts and campuses throughout Texas this week. Shelbyville ISD is pleased to announce
that our school district received an ‘A’ rating for the 2021-22 school year. In addition, Shelbyville School (S.W. Carter Elementary School, Shelbyville Middle School, and Shelbyville High School) received a campus rating of an ‘A’ rating for the 2021-22 school year.
August 10, 2022 - The Shelbyville Independent School District offers career and technical education programs in family and consumer science, agricultural science, business education, and multi-occupational training. Admission to these programs is based on interest and aptitude, age appropriateness, and class space available.

Fortunately, this school year the supply lists are much shorter as many of the schools are providing general classroom supplies during the 2022-2023 year such as pens, pencils, markers, scissors, rulers, tissue and other items that will be replenished as needed.
July 27, 2022 - Shelbyville ISD will host Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm. The first day of school is Monday, August 15, 2022.
July 6, 2022 - A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Shelbyville Independent School District will be held on Monday, July 11, 2022, beginning at 12:00 noon, in the Board Room of the Shelbyville Independent School District at 5322 St Hwy 87S, Shelbyville, Texas.
June 8, 2022 - In accordance with 34 CFR 300.573 Destruction of Information, Shelbyville ISD Special Services will destroy the special education records of students whose last date of service was prior to 2016. This destruction of records will take place on or after August 1, 2022.
