Lady Dragons Volleyball Team Makes Shelbyville Proud

November 2, 2021 - The Lady Dragons Volleyball team made Shelbyville proud on Monday, November 1, 2021 in their game against Overton in the Bi-District round of playoffs. The Dragons lost in five sets but fought the Mustangs to the last stretch of the race.

The Dragons took a bit to get going losing the first two sets 25-9 and 25-20 but after the newness of the playoffs wore off, the Dragons got down to business winning the third set (10-25) and fourth (21/25) set to stay in the game.

Lady Dragons Volleyball Team Plays in First Round of Playoffs Today

November 1, 2021 - The Lady Dragons Volleyball team has made program history by making the playoffs for the first time! The Dragons (23-14) will play Overton (28-11) today, November 1st at Nacogdoches High School at 6pm in the Bi-District round of the 2A Region 3 Volleyball Playoffs. Ticket prices ar $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Lady Dragons Volleyball Team Makes History with Playoff Run

October 20, 2021 - The Dragons cinched their place in the 2A Region III District 20 playoffs for the first time in the schools volleyball history. The Lady Dragons are 6-2 in district and are currently vying to tie Timpson for 2nd place in the league. The teams overall record this season is 23-12.

Shelbyville Lady Dragons Volleyball Team 5-2 in District Play

October 19, 2021 - The Shelbyville Lady Dragon Volleyball team is currently 5-2 in District play and has an overall record of 22-12 for the season. In October the Lady Dragons have had three wins and two losses.

The Dragons traveled to San Augustine and defeated the wolves in three strong sets on October 1. In the first set Dragons won 25 to 18, second set 25 to 20, and ended the match up in the third set 25-10.

Financial Aid Night for Shelbyville HS Seniors, Parents

October 15, 2021 - Financial Aid Night for Shelbyville High School for seniors and parents, will be held on Monday, October, 18th from 6-8pm in the high school library. Parents are encouraged to bring their 2020 tax returns.

Dragons Volleyball Team Starts District Play 2-0

October 4, 2021 - In their District Opener on Friday, September 24th, the Shelbyville Dragons tamed the Gary Bobcats in three sets. Shelbyville won 25-18, 25-13, and 25-23.

Kate Lawson had 25 assists and 9 digs. Kiana Bennett had 15 kills, 8 digs, 2 blocks, and 4 aces. Ma’Kayja Horton had 7 kills, 8 digs, and 4 aces. Cadience Thompson had 5 kills and 10 digs.
