Shelbyville Teacher Receives iteach Texas Elementary Teacher of the Year

June 6, 2019 - S. W. Carter Elementary School is pleased to announce that Mr. Larry Jason McDonald, special education teacher, was nominated and selected as the iteach Texas Elementary Teacher of the Year. This is Jason’s first year to teach after completing the iteach Texas private alternative educator program based on distance learning that recommends successful candidates for the Standard teaching certificate in Texas.

Shelbyville Dragons Regional Quarter Final Champions

May 20, 2019 - The Dragons will play Simms Bowie in the Regional Semi-Finals on Thursday, May 23 at 5pm; Game 2 will be 30 minutes after; Game 3 if necessary will be Saturday, May 25 at 12-noon.

All games at ETBU in Marshall, TX. We are 1st Base dugout and admission is $5

Spring Band Concert, Spaghetti Dinner (Update)

May 17, 2019 - The Shelbyville Dragon band will have their spring concert on Monday, May 20 at 6pm in the Shelbyville Gym.

The band boosters will be selling Spaghetti dinners, plate includes spaghetti (chicken or regular) and a dessert and drink. Serving will begin at 5pm. Plates are $10 each. Thank you for your support of the Dragon Band!
