April 22, 2019 - Shelbyville ISD is proud to announce the 2019-2020 cheerleaders.

April 16, 2019 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2019-2020 school year must request transfer no later than May 30, 2019 

This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.

April 5, 2019 - The 2A State Basketball State Champion Shelbyville Dragons were acknowledged at the Texas House and Texas Senate in Austin on April 4, 2019. The Dragons met with Representative Chris Paddie and Senator Robert Nichols and presented them with a Gold medal. To cap off their trip, the Dragons toured the TX Longhorn Basketball facilities and were given the opportunity to utilize the facility. 

April 3, 2019 - The Shelbyville Jr. High District Track meet at San Augustine has been moved to Wednesday, April 3  instead of Thursday due to expected rain out

March 29, 2019 - Shelbyville High School competed at the District 22AA Academic UIL Spring Meet held at SFA on March 27th. Shelbyville competitors scored points in twenty out of twenty-two events, qualified twenty students for the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet and captured the District Championship.
