Lady Dragons Earn Second at Huntington Powerlifting Meet, Girls Head to Regional Meet

February 19, 2019 - The Lady Dragon Powerlifting team took second place at the Huntington Powerlifting Meet on February 14. Diana Valencia, 2nd place in the 97 lb class, Laika Sanders won 2nd place in the 105 lb class, Jaiden Rose was 1st place in the 123 class, Claudia Vasquez placed 5th in the 165 class, Keyasmine Johnson placed 2nd in the 220 class, and Jada Moore won second in the 259 lb class. Diana, Jaiden, and Jada all secured a spot in the Regional Meet in Fairfield on March 2.

Shelbyville ISD Purchases Truck for Growing Ag Science Program

February 13, 2019 - Shelbyville ISD recently purchased their expanding ag science program a Ford F-250 from Raymond Motor Company.

The truck will be used to haul kids (and animals) to livestock shows, contests, mechanics shows, and much more.

Dragon Band Solo/Ensemble Results

February 13, 2019 - Solo and Ensemble Contest was held on February 8-9 in Nacogdoches. At the end of the two-day event, members of the Shelbyville Band program earned a total of 51 superior ratings.

Shelbyville Lady Dragons Bi-District Champions

February 12, 2019 - Shelbyville Lady Dragons are the Bi-District Champions after defeating Cushing 46-38!

The Lady Dragons will play Thursday, February 14 at 6:00 pm versus Hull-Daisetta at Jasper High School. District Passes, Coaches Passes and Senior Citizen Passes will be accepted. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Dragons will be the visitors.
