Shelbyville High School Academic UIL District 22A Results

March 25, 2017 - Shelbyville High School competed in the District 22AA Academic UIL Spring Meet held at SFA on March 22nd. Shelbyville competitors scored points in eighteen events and qualified students in fourteen events for the Region III-AA Academic UIL Meet.

McCowin Qualifies for State Powerlifting Meet

March 22, 2017 - Kawon McCowin, Shelbyville High School Junior, qualified for the State Powerlifting Meet to be held at the Taylor Expo Center in Abilene, TX on March 25, 2017. Kawon placed 2nd at the Regional Meet in the 275 pound, Division 3 Weight Class to advance to the State Meet.

Lady Dragon Powerlifters Place 3rd Overall at State, Katie Casey Wins Gold

March 20, 2017 - The Lady Dragon Powerlifting team competed at State on March 17-18 in Waco, Texas and placed 3rd overall!

Katie Casey won the gold and is the State Champion in the 259 weight class.

March 6, 2017 - The Lady Dragon Powerlifting team competed in the Regional Powerlifting Meet March 4, 2017 in Fairfield, Texas. The girls placed Fourth overall as a team.

March 6, 2017 - High school students in Shelbyville ISD will compete for top honors during the 2017 District 22AA UIL Academic Spring Meet to be held on March 22nd at SFA. The UIL Academic District Meets bring students together to compete in over 22 college level academic contests that cover every aspect of classroom curriculum. These students meet rigorous scholastic requirements in order to voluntarily compete in UIL academics.
