November 17, 2021 - Tenaha Junior High girls and boys basketball teams will play in Shelbyville against the Dragons on Thursday, November 18th. Girls game starts at 5:30pm and boys game to follow.
The Joaquin Rams varsity football team was eliminated from the Texas UIL Football Playoff when they suffered a 50-25 elimination loss to the Beckville Bearcats. The game was a bi-district playoff between the two teams and was played at Henderson Lions Stadium, a neutral site.
November 12, 2021 - The Shelbyville Dragons will play the Holland Hornets at Athens High School on Friday, November 19 with a 7pm game time. Dragons are the home team. Admission is $5. District, coaches, and senior citizen passes will be accepted. Go Dragons!

Carthage Bulldog Stadium on Thursday November 11, 2021 –
In a fast-paced high scoring game, the Shelbyville Dragons varsity football team outlasted the Carlisle Indians and won by a 53-43 score. The game was a UIL Bi-District Playoff played at Carthage Bulldogs Stadium, a neutral site for both teams.
Four of Shelby County’s Five varsity football teams are headed to the Bi-district level of the UIL Playoffs.
The Center Roughriders were narrowly eliminated from the playoffs with a 48-45 loss to the Rusk Eagles. Center ended their season with a 1-9 overall record and a fifth place 1-4 District 10 4A-2 mark.
November 8, 2021 - The Tenaha Tigers football team will play against the Burkeville Mustangs on Thursday, November 11th at Jasper with a 7pm start time.
The Timpson Bears varsity football team blew a close game wide open when they outscored the Shelbyville Dragons 35-0 in the final 15:45 minutes of the contest.
