December 8, 2015 - The Tenaha Band's Christmas Concert will be Wednesday, December 16th at 2:30PM in the SEC. The 6th Grade Band, 7th Grade Band, and High School Band will be performing in this concert.
Parents are invited, and admission is Free! So, come enjoy some holiday music and support the Tenaha band students at the same time!
December 5, 2015 - The Tenaha Tigers varsity football team fell to the Muenster Hornets by a 33-16 score during their Regional Final/ State quarterfinal game at Forney High School last Friday. This was the Tigers fifth consecutive Regional Championship appearance.
December 2, 2015 - In order to accommodate for travel time to playoff game, Tenaha ISD will have an early release on Friday, December 4th at 1:30pm. There will be a pep rally parade at 9:45 am in the High School foyer.
The Tigers will be playing Muenster Friday night in the City Bank Stadium, 800 FM 741 (Villanova Cir), Forney, Texas 75126 at 7:30pm. We hope you join us Friday night to cheer our boys on to victory!!! We are the home team.
December 1, 2015 - Kindergarteners at Tenaha Elementary school had a special package delivered on Tuesday, December 1st. It contained the Elf on the Shelf Book and contained an Elf whom the students named Ralphie. He will be looking for students who are kind and make good choices while at school between now and Christmas break!
November 19, 2015 - Tenaha Elementary 1st graders learned about Thanksgiving and enjoyed a feast. Students wore pilgrim and indian costumes as part of the Thanksgiving Feast.
November 19, 2015 - Members of Tenaha Masonic Lodge #737 presented Tenaha Elementary school students with Tooth Decay kits from the Fantastic Teeth program on Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
Denetra Slaughter's First Grade class were the recipients of the kits which were presented to them by Les Gill, Ron Barker, Brenda Agnew, Jerry Agnew and Larry Terry.
