The Tigers are Back - School in Session
568…. That’s how many young Tigers woke up, got dressed, loaded the buses and cars, and came to the first day of the 2015-16 school year. The TISD Administration team is anticipating that number to grow a little over the coming days and reach as many as 575 possibly.
August 21, 2015 - More than 600 educators from across Shelby County are “Fired Up” and ready to begin the school year after a pep talk from Aric Bostick, former teacher turned motivational speaker, who spoke at the John D. Windham Civic Center Wednesday.
August 10, 2015 - Meet the Teacher for Tenaha Schools will be held Thursday, August 20th, 4:30pm-6:30pm. and students are encouraged to come meet their teacher in grades PK-12. Parents will be able to pick up all required registration forms for the 2015-2016 school year. Students in grades 9-12 will be able to pick up their schedule in the main foyer of the High School.
July 16, 2015 - Tenaha ISD annouces the time for all students wishing to participate in any sport to get their physical. The sports physicals will take place on Monday, August 3rd, 2015 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
June 23, 2015 - Tenaha’s' own Cobe Caraway signed a college letter of intent to play football for the Tyler Junior College Apaches on Monday. Family, Tenaha ISD faculty and friends gathered in the Tenaha ISD administration building’s Tiger den to witness the occasion.
