Adult Softball will also be offered. Teams can sign up as either Co-...Ed, Straight, or Church Teams. If we have enough teams for each one, we will separate the teams into their own leagues.

April 22, 2016 - The Beckville Bearcats varsity baseball team used a 13-3 hit advantage, over the Joaquin Rams, to take a convincing 13-0 District 23 2A win at Gary High School, last Thursday. Joaquin remains in second place in the conference with a 9-3 mark. The Bearcats remain unbeaten with an unblemished 12-0 league mark. They are 20-0-1 overall and have clinched the district title.

The Bearcats used hits by Ethan Harris, Zach Collins and John Bounds to jump out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Joaquin threatened to score in the bottom half of the inning when Hunter Harper walked and Kase Yates singled but Bearcat pitcher, Braden Wise was able to strike out the next two Rams batters to end the threat.

BHS exploded for six hits in the top of the third inning and ballooned their lead to 10-0. They used an error, two hit batters and an RBI double by Collins to boost their advantage to 12-0 in the fourth inning. Cole Powdrill came in to pitch for the Rams and the JHS defense rallied to end the inning without any additional Bearcats scoring.

Brandt Harris scored Ethan Harris with a sacrifice grounder in the fifth frame to give Beckville a 13-0 lead.

Joaquin rallied to load the bases with an infield single by Tanner Williams, a single to right field by Justin Hooper and a walk by Brock Lawson but, Wise was able to help close out JHS by striking out the final two outs needed to end the game by the district's ten-run-rule.
