David’s Daily Devotion for Oct. 1

October 1, 2025 - Good Morning! It’s Wednesday, October 1.

The crisp morning air. The cool evening breeze. The leaves changing color and falling from the trees. October is here and Autumn has begun. The season so nice, they named it twice!

Every time the seasons change, we’re reminded of God’s creation, of God’s control, of God’s plan. Here are some more reminders.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.

And they led their team to four pennants and two world series victories.

At its peak, it was featured in 2600 newspapers, with 350 million daily readers. It was expanded to TV, movies, even a Broadway musical. And it earned its creator, Charles Shultz, over a billion dollars.

David’s Daily Devotion for Sept. 11

September 11, 2025 - Good Morning. It’s Thursday, September 11.

I was getting ready for work, that Tuesday morning in early September of 2001. When the clock struck 7:46, a bulletin came on the television. The newscaster said that a small plane had flown into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. A few minutes later, the report changed. It wasn’t a small plane, it was a commercial airliner. Just after 8:00, we learned that a second airliner had crashed into the South Tower. And we realized that America was under attack.
