February 3, 2017 - Final sign-up days for the Shelbyville Youth Sports Baseball/Softball are this Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 at First Baptist Church in Shelbyville.

Hours are Friday from 5:30pm until 8pm and Saturday from 9am until 12noon. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate to sign-ups if first year playing in Shelbyville. Child must be 4 years old to play.

Cost is $85 for 1st child, $80 for 2nd child, and $75 for each additional child. Uniforms will be available for sizing.

February 1, 2017 - According to Shelby County District Attorney Stephen Shires, a group of law enforcement personnel served an arrest warrant on Eric Bremer, 54 of Shelbyville, following a violation of a protective order on January 18, 2017.

February 1, 2017 - A section of US 59 coming out of Timpson had a speed limit change approved last year and the new signs indicating the new speed of 50mph and 65mph.

January 26, 2017 - District Clerk Lori Oliver advises the Grand Jury summons recently mailed out for February 14, 2017 had an incorrect time of 12-midnight on the card. The time to report for Grand Jury is 8:30am. New cards with the correct time were mailed out today, January 26, 2017. Sincerest apologizes for any confusion.
