James Antioch Community Meeting Cancellation

May 13, 2022 - The James Antioch Community meeting that mostly meets the third Sat. of the month will need to be cancelled again for the month of May.

We may try to have a meeting in June. Sorry to have this break in meetings just before the summer months. Please keep this time open in your monthly schedule. In the meantime do enjoy graduation parties.

Smith Cemetery Association Annual Dinner on the Ground Fundraiser

April 19, 2022 - The Smith Cemetery Association will have their annual Dinner on the Ground - Fundraiser on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 12:30. Members will bring food and be prepared for giving to support the upkeep of the grounds. There will be a short business to elect a committee to serve the following year. The Smith Cemetery is located just off HWY 7 E about 6 miles from Center.

James-Antioch Community March Meeting

March 14, 2022 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Community Building.

Meeting begins at 5:30pm and after our business meeting we will have our supper that everyone helps to provide.

We hope you will bring a covered dish and join us for a time of fellowship.

James Antiock Community Monthly Meeting

February 14, 2022 - The James Antiock Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at the James Antioch Community Building. We will start at 5pm. There will be a carry-in-dinner, a short business meeting and a report on things that have happened the past 2 months. Please come and keep up with happenings in the community. See you then.

James-Antioch Cancels January Meeting

January 10, 2022 - There will not be a monthly meeting at the James Antioch Community building this Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022. We just wanted to take some time off while it is so cold.

Please keep the third Sat. open because we will plan to meet in February.

James-Antioch Community November Meeting

November 8, 2021 - The James Antioch Community will have their regular monthly meeting on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 at 5pm at the James Antioch Community Building. Please bring something for us all to eat.

We will have a business meeting and a report on the fund raiser event.

This month we just want to relax and enjoy a time to visit and eat. Hope to see you then.

James-Antioch Community Chili, Chicken Dumpling Fundraiser

October 12, 2021 - The James-Antioch Community will be serving Chili or Chicken and Dumplings on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11am until 1pm and from 4pm until 6pm.

This will be at the James Antioch Community Building just off HWY 7 E, down the road behind the James Store. Watch for signs.

Chili dinner includes crackers or Fritos, dessert and drink all for $8. Chicken and dumplings includes corn bread and dessert and drink all for $8. You can dine in or have take-out food.

James Antioch Community Business Meeting

September 8, 2021 - The James Antioch Community will have a meeting on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 5:30pm. We meet in the James Antioch Community Building and have a meal. Each family is to bring a covered dish to share. There will be a business meeting and then a time to visit remembering to be safe and follow safety rules to stay healthy. We hope members of the community will come and enjoy this outing.

James Antioch Community Meeting Set for May 15

May 10, 2021 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, May 15 at 5 PM. We will meet in the James Antioch Community Building. Bring something to eat and be prepared to visit your neighbors. We had a good meeting in April and hope to see many at this meeting which will be the last until fall comes.

Smith Cemetery Association Annual Meeting

April 5, 2021 - The Smith Cemetery Association will have their annual meeting on April 25, 2021 at 12:30 (noon).

The Oversight Committee has decided that members can bring food as has been practised in the past and we will collect funds to maintain the cemetery.

We hope your family will come and enjoy looking at the cemetery and renewing friendships.

Smith Cemetery is located on Hwy 7 east of Center.
