Garage Sale Fundraiser at James Antioch Community Building

April 23, 2019 - There will be a One day community garage sale at the James Antioch Community Building on Saturday, May, 4, 2019 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The purpose is to raise funding to keep the Community house open. It will be inside the building and we will have good parking. You will find household items along with handy-man things for the yard and garden. You will see signs on HWY 7E to help you find the place. If you have questions call Ellen Manning at 598-3081.

XYZ Homemakers Club Meeting

April 5, 2019 - The XYZ Homemakers Club will have their next meeting on April 18, 2019 at the Senior Nutrition Site at 11:00 am. Our lesson on CRASE - Civilian response to active shooter events, will be given by authorized authority and we feel is of interest to many in the community. We hope many will be able to take advantage of this educational opportunity.

Annual Smith Cemetery Reunion

April 5, 2019 - The annual Smith Cemetery Reunion is scheduled for April 28, 2019. This is the time to bring your financial support for upkeep and to tell the committee how you feel about the appearance of the cemetery. So bring your dinner and take time to visit and see the cemetery. The cemetery is located east of Center on HWY 7.

James Antioch Community Meeting

April 5, 2019 - The James Antioch Community will have their regular gathering on April 20, 2019 at the James Antioch Community Building. We meet at 6:30 PM and bring some food to eat. We have a little business and then eat and visit. We like to see all the neighbors in the community.

James Antioch Community March Meeting

March 11, 2019 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on March 16, 2019 at 6:30 pm meeting in the James Antioch community Building.

We will have a carry-in-meal and time for catching up on local news and happenings. Bring your neighbor and have a good time with all of us.

James Antioch Community February Meeting

February 4, 2019 - The James Antioch Community will have their regular monthly meeting on February 16, 2019. There will be a Pot Luck meal at 6:30 at the Community Building. President, Robert Gregg wants to finalize some plans for making the facility available for needs in the community. Hoping for nice weather so everyone can come.

January 14, 2019 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the community building at 6:30 p.m. There will be a carry in - pot luck meal. We have business to do then we can have fun and fellowship. We hope to see a lot of neighbors gather together.

James Antioch Community Christmas Party

December 10, 2018 - The James Antioch Community will have a Christmas Party at the community house on Saturday, December 15, 2018 starting at 5:30 pm. There will be a covered dish supper and everyone needs to bring a $10 gift for the Chinese Gift Exchange. We plan to present the Scholarship that we have been holding and we have some other unfinished business. So we hope you come and join us for some fun and fellowship. You can bring a friend with you.

James Antioch Community November Meeting

November 7, 2018 - The James Antioch Community will have their November meeting on November 17, 2018 at 6:30 in the evening. We will gather at the community House and have a carry in meal and then have a time of fellowship. We will be planning the Christmas Party. We encourage all who can to come and be a part of life in the James Community.

Woodmen Life Contributes to Area Fire Departments

September 25, 2018 - Jeremy Boyett, Assistant Fire Chief for the Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department accepted a check from Woodmen Life.
