April 5, 2021 - The Smith Cemetery Association will have their annual meeting on April 25, 2021 at 12:30 (noon). 

The Oversight Committee has decided that members can bring food as has been practised in the past and we will collect funds to maintain the cemetery.   

We hope your family will come and enjoy looking at the cemetery and renewing friendships.  

Smith Cemetery is located on Hwy 7 east of Center.

April 2, 2020 - The Smith Cemetery Association dinner on the grounds scheduled for April 26, 2020 has been cancelled due to the need of social distancing to prevent spread of the Coronavirus.

The committee will let you know if it will be rescheduled at a later date.

Contributions will be accepted if you can mail them. Members will receive information by mail. 

February 10, 2020 - It is time for the James Antioch Community meeting. We will meet February 15, 2020 at 5pm in the James-Antioch Community Building. Bring a covered dish and a friendly smile for your friends and neighbors. Last time we had a game and the winner received a prize! So come and see what is happening

December 5, 2019 - The James Antioch Community will have a Christmas Party on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the James Antioch Community Building.  We have a $10 gift exchange and a carry-in-meal. We will meet at 5:00 pm. Come and have a nice evening with your neighbors.

October 7, 2019 - There will be a Hot Dog Supper on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the James-Antioch Community Building. We will serve your choice of Chili Dog or Frito Pie, cookies, and a soft drink. Meal will be $6.00. We start serving at 4pm.

Other activities will be a Bake Sale, a drawing for a quilt stitched with the State Birds, and then some interaction with some of the candidates for 2020. Come and learn who will be running for office. You will be helping with the upkeep of the Community Building and meeting your neighbors.
