June 22, 2024 - The Beyond The Call, End of Watch ride paid a visit to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department in honor of fallen deputy Matthew Pierson Friday, June 21, 2024.
June 21, 2024 - The PWPS held their regular monthly meeting this past Saturday. There was a workshop given by Billie Jones on Abstract Photography, Tips and Techniques. The June Challenge was "Shadows/Silhouettes" where club members submitted up to 3 photos they took of either shadow or silhouettes for "Favorite" votes and discussions.
The next meeting will be held the third Saturday in July, visitors are always welcome to attend.

June 13, 2024 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library staff got a surprise visit from 8-year-old Ella Lewis on June 13, 2024. Ella wanted to help her Library and was inspired to have a lemonade stand.
June 12, 2024 - Connor Henson, of Center, achieves the honor of being named with a total of 225 Centenary students to the Dean's List for Spring 2024. The honor list names all students who have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher in 12 or more semester hours taken for a letter grade during the fall semester. Those students who have opted out of publicly sharing their private information are not listed. Students on the Centenary Spring 2024 Dean's List are listed by their home countries/states and cities.
