December 27, 2021 - The Center Woman’s Reading Club met on Thursday, December 2nd at the FUMC fellowship hall. Sue Russell gave a very interesting program on The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. Sue chose the book as it is a book about following one’s heart.
December 22, 2021 - The Pine Terrace Property Owners Association are proud to announce the winners of the 2021 Christmas Lights contest. Donna Holt, president of the association, was excited about the number of Pine Terrace home owners who decorated this year which made it a hard decision to pick the winners. She expressed that so many did a wonderful job!
December 22, 2021 - Jared Tovar achieved the honor of being listed on the Dean's List of scholars at the University of North Texas (UNT) for the 2021 Fall Semester. He also achieved the same honor for the 2021 Spring Semester.
December 21, 2021 - Students representing the Catherine Pinkston Scholarship Fund will be hosting a canned food drive for Shelby County Outreach Ministries today, December 21st, from 10-6 at Brookshire Brothers in Center.

The James-Antioch Community Center wants to thank everyone who purchased tickets this year. The ticket sales were over $2,900. The entire proceeds will go to the Community Center for upkeep and utilities of the building.
We also want to thank the quilters who participated in making of the quilt and all the ones who sold tickets. This was truly a group effort.
