Toast “100 s’more years” of outdoor fun with everyone’s favorite campfire treat. Participating parks offer events to introduce people of all ages and skill levels to the outdoors with s’mores-themed fun, from making solar-baked s’mores to a s’mores-themed star party.

AG Announces Distribution of $141 Million to TurboTax Customers

May 4, 2023 - Attorney General Paxton has announced that $141 million will be distributed to Intuit TurboTax customers who were misled into paying Intuit to file their federal tax returns. Approximately 4.4 million consumers nationwide will receive a payment, including more than 465,000 Texas residents. The payments are the result of a multistate settlement reached with Intuit in 2022.

Texas State Parks and 5 Texas Minor League Teams Create Ultimate ‘Park’ Experience

May 3, 2023 - Take me out to the park! Texas State Parks and Minor League Baseball teams around the state are teaming up to bring the ultimate day/night doubleheader opportunity for visitors to spend a day at a state park and a night at the ballpark.

Five minor league teams will offer a variety of experiences for game attendees, including game day perks and a chance to talk to park rangers about nearby state parks and the outdoor experiences there.
