Everything old is new again.

Let me tell you about a remarkable method of communication and connection. You probably haven't heard of it. It's exceedingly rare. I'll describe it for you.

First, you take a sheet of paper and place it flat on a table or a desk. Then, you use a writing instrument to fill the paper with your thoughts. Thoughts of important things, thoughts of trivial things. Humorous thoughts, serious thoughts, thoughts of love.

UT Tyler Recognizes Three Local Students on Spring 2023 Dean's List

May 25, 2023 - The University of Texas at Tyler announced the students who were named to the spring 2023 Dean's List.

To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must have completed 12 or more semester hours of undergraduate college-level credit in the awarding semester with a grade point average of at least 3.75. To be considered for this recognition, a student must qualify as a matriculated student pursuing a first bachelor's degree. This recognition is made in fall and spring semesters.

Timpson Texas participates in The National Moment of Remembrance

May 24, 2023 - The National Moment of Remembrance is an annual event that asks Americans, wherever they are at 3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day, to pause for a duration of one minute to remember those who have died in military service to the United States. The time 3 p.m. was chosen because it is the time when most Americans are enjoying time off of work for the national holiday. The Moment was first proclaimed in May 2000 for Memorial Day that year, and was put in law by the United States Congress in December 2000.

May 24, 2023 - With Memorial Day weekend fast approaching, Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine serves up some Lone Star twists on familiar staples that are easy for families to prepare for the campfire or picnic basket.

Recipes include grilled Poteet strawberry shortcake, alambres and even a brisket-laden Texas charcuterie board, and include suggestions for state parks that would make a perfect pairing.
