"Attack of the Gerbil" by Neal Murphy

September 21, 2022 - Around 1965 a new store opened in the Meyerland area of Houston, Texas near where we lived. It was a new kind of store, a forerunner of K-Mart or Wal-Mart. David's Daily Devotion for September 21

September 21, 2022 - Good Morning! It's Wednesday, September 21.

Herbert George Wells was born on September 21, 1866. H.G. Wells is considered one of the greatest science fiction writers in history. But the thing is, most of his "fiction" has turned out to be reality. His over 50 novels were primarily written in the late 1800's and in them he foretold the coming of airplanes, space travel, genetic engineering, television, wireless communication, and the internet. In 1913, 30 years before Hiroshima, he coined the term "atomic bomb".
