March 3, 2016 – Texas USDA Rural Development has announced funding is available for the purpose of repairing homes in eligible rural areas.  The funds are available through Rural Development's 504 Home Repair loan and grant program.

I would like to extend a huge thank you to all those that supported me for re-election as Sheriff of Shelby County.  This was not an easy campaign for us.   But we had faith and believed that the good people of Shelby County would see through the negative tactics.  Be assured that I have always spent county funds wisely and will continue to do so.

March 2, 2016 - Tri-County Community Action, Inc. (TCCA) is soliciting an RFP for Certified ROMA and/or Strategic Planning Trainers to deliver Strategic Planning, Advanced ROMA Training and ROMA Training for Management and Boards. The tentative training dates will be a mutually agreed upon date in April or May, 2016 in Center, Texas 75935. RFP packets are available February 29, 2016 – March 14, 2016.
