Center ISD Board of Trustees Calls for Bond Election

February 20, 2018 - On February 15, 2018 the Board of Trustees met at a regularly scheduled meeting and unanimously adopted an Order Calling a Bond Election, pursuant to which, a bond election will be conducted in the District on May 5, 2018.

After a thorough review by a special committee responsible for evaluating the future facility needs of the district, the Board of Trustees determined to proceed with 2 bond propositions, encompassing the proposed projects.

Flag Program Alert!; District Closure Effects President's Day

February 14, 2018 - Center ISD is taking proactive measures to disinfect and deep clean all district buildings and buses to support the positive health of students and staff. The district is closed until Tuesday, February 20th; staff and students will not be on campus while the cleaning process is occurring.

Center HS Floral Design Department Selling Roses

February 14, 2018 - The Floral Design Department will be selling single-stem roses for $2 each outside the main entrance to CHS from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, February 14.

The roses come in several colors: pink, hot pink, light pink, white, off-white/grey, orange, yellow, and purple.

Center ISD Announces School Closure Due to Confirmed Case of Viral Meningitis

Center ISD Parents and Guardians,

February 13, 2018 - We have been notified of a confirmed case of viral meningitis at the FLM campus. As a result, we are taking immediate and swift action to disinfect the entire FLM campus.

Furthermore, we are seeing and experiencing a large number of flu or flu-like illnesses across the district. The presence of the illnesses are lingering, persistent, and growing both in our student body and faculty. As such, Center ISD will take proactive measures to disinfect and deep clean all district buildings and buses thoroughly.

Short Film "Pleonexia" Created by CHS Student to be screened at Film Festival

February 2, 2018 - Short film, "Pleonexia," created by CHS junior Blane Agnew, has been picked as an official selection of The Nacogdoches Film Festival. There were many high school films submitted and his film was picked as one of the 8 short films and 1 feature film to be screened. They will announce the 1st place winner on Saturday, February 25th.
