Congratulations to the Joaquin FFA recipients of the Shelby County AG Mechanics Foundation Scholarships, Beto Romero Gonzalez and Kace Sherrod.

Center HS Spring Concert Streaming on Twtich.tv

May 23, 2022 - Watlington and Shires Productions are excited to provide a live stream of tonight's CHS Spring Concert at 6:30 pm. The stream is presented by Shelby Savings Bank.

Pre-concert begins at 6:15 featuring an interview with Center Concert Band Director Patrick Conn. The concert band performs at 6:30 then between bands we will interview Head Director Chris Smith. His symphonic band's performance follows.

After the concert, we'll visit with senior band students.

F.L. Moffett Places 3rd at District UIL

May 23, 2022 - Overall, Center ISD’s F.L. Moffett students placed 3rd in the District UIL Competition.

Center ISD Announces Signing Schedules for Johnson, Boykins (Update)

May 17, 2022 - Join Center ISD in congratulating Makel Johnson (Basketball) who will be signing with Tyler Jr. College May 18, 2022, 8:30am-9:30am.

(Update): Aniyah Boykins (Track) will also be signing with SFA May 20, 2022, 9am-9:30am.

Both of these signings will take place at Center High School Library.

Center HS Awards Night Tonight

May 19, 2022 - Center High School Awards Night has been moved to Thursday, May 19, at 6:00 in the gym.

Parents will receive a phone call if their student is receiving an award. Students will also be told they are receiving an award. Students need to be at the gym no later than 5:30.

Center ISD to Basic Provide School Supplies for 2022-2023 (English/Spanish)

May 18, 2022 - As the 2021-2022 school year closes, we wanted to share some good news with you about the upcoming school year.

As you know, since March 2020, the COVID 19 pandemic has had a dramatic effect on elementary and secondary schools across the country. As a result, Congress enacted legislation that provided Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funding for state and local educational agencies. The ESSER grant gives special consideration to the children whose families may have been adversely affected by the pandemic's impact economically.
