Center Varsity Tennis Splits Last Two Matches

September 13, 2022 - The Center Varsity tennis team split their last two matches. They lost to the #4 state ranked Lindale Eagles on Saturday, September 10th with a final tournament result of 1-18 and won over Kilgore 14-5 at home on Monday, September 12th.

Against Kilgore, the girls once again swept their matches winning all the girls doubles, mixed, and singles. The overall total against Kilgore was Center 16 - Kilgore 5.

Scholastic Book Fair, Used Book Sale: Open Now!

September 13, 2022 - The Center High School Library will host the Scholastic Book Fair and Used Book Sale September 12-16. The sale will be open to the public Monday-Thursday from 4-5pm.

Center HS Cheer Boosters Offering "Pink-Out" Shirts for Sale

September 13, 2022 - The CHS Cheer Booster Club is selling t-shirts for the "Pink Out" game that is on October 14, 2022.

These order forms are due on Monday, September 19, 2022. If you work for or attend CISD, you will have your shirt in hand by October 6, 2022. If not, you can pick up your shirt on October 12, 2022.

Rider Tennis Sweeps Henderson, Pineywoods Academy

September 7, 2022 - In team tennis competition, the Riders swept their last two opponents.

On Saturday, September 3, 2022 the Riders hosted Henderson and swept the Lions 19-0 officially and 26-1 with all extra matches played.

Tuesday, September 6 competing against District opponent Pineywoods Academy, the Riders kept the momentum going with a clean sweep of all the matches 20-0.

Rider Varsity Tennis Team Defeats Lufkin 13-6 Official Matches, 19-8 Overall

September 1, 2022 - Center Varsity tennis team wins 13-6 over Lufkin when the two teams met in Lufkin on August 30, 2022. Great start leading 5-2 after doubles and gave the Riders momentum going into singles. Out of 12 singles matches, the team would win 8 with the Lady Riders leading the way completing a clean sweep again.

Varsity Tennis will host Henderson starting at 9am, Saturday, September 3, 2022. Junior Varsity's played in Henderson September 1st and their next tournament will be on September 8th.

Center High School Will Host a Senior Parent Meeting

August 29, 2022 - Center High School will host a Senior Parent meeting on Thursday, September 1, at 5:15 p.m. in the High School Library. We will discuss upcoming activities, fundraisers, and other important senior Information.

Directions for Roughrider Football Fans Traveling Friday to Eagle Stadium

August 25, 2022 - On Friday, Roughrider football fans will travel to Eagle Stadium, 435 Menefee Street, Tatum, TX 75691. The visitor parking area which is located on the east side of the stadium. Visitor entrance is at the southeast corner of the stadium.

After arriving, please continue north on Jefferson and proceed through the gate and stay to the right to enter the visitor parking area. Click here for stadium info and directions.

CISD Superintendent Announces TEA Gives "A" Rating for District

August 15, 2022 - Center Independent School District is excited to announce that all the hard work from our teachers and students has paid off. The Texas Education Agency has given us our 2022 Accountability Ratings. We are excited and proud to announce that Center ISD is an "A" rated district. This is the highest rating that a school can get from TEA.
