September 1, 2022 - Center Varsity tennis team wins 13-6 over Lufkin when the two teams met in Lufkin on August 30, 2022. Great start leading 5-2 after doubles and gave the Riders momentum going into singles. Out of 12 singles matches, the team would win 8 with the Lady Riders leading the way completing a clean sweep again.
Varsity Tennis will host Henderson starting at 9am, Saturday, September 3, 2022. Junior Varsity's played in Henderson September 1st and their next tournament will be on September 8th.
August 29, 2022 - Center High School will host a Senior Parent meeting on Thursday, September 1, at 5:15 p.m. in the High School Library. We will discuss upcoming activities, fundraisers, and other important senior Information.
August 25, 2022 - On Friday, Roughrider football fans will travel to Eagle Stadium, 435 Menefee Street, Tatum, TX 75691. The visitor parking area which is located on the east side of the stadium. Visitor entrance is at the southeast corner of the stadium.

August 15, 2022 - Center Independent School District is excited to announce that all the hard work from our teachers and students has paid off. The Texas Education Agency has given us our 2022 Accountability Ratings. We are excited and proud to announce that Center ISD is an "A" rated district. This is the highest rating that a school can get from TEA.
