Center Jr. Varsity Tennis Team Wins District Title

April 5, 2022 - Center hosted the UIL District 17 Junior Varsity Tennis Tournament on Friday, April 1st and the results are as follows:

JV Boys Singles:
1st - Vendenheede (Jasper)
2nd - Glenn (Jasper)
3rd - Ryan Arndt (Center)
4th - Wade Collard (Center)

JV Boys Doubles:
1st - Charlie Corbell / Nathan Creech (Center)
2nd - Hunter Cooper / Octavio Hernandez (Center)
3rd - Luke Fausett / Braxton Hardy (Center)

March 29, 2022 - Vaccines will be available on April 18 for Current 6th graders at CMS and current 11th and 12th graders at CHS. Sign up by April 14.

Center HS Senior Qualifies for State Powerlifting Competition

March 25, 2022 - Center High School Senior Eric Lopez finished 2nd in the 275 pound weight class at regionals with a total lift of 1,410 pounds. He will compete at the state powerlifting competition on Saturday, March 26.

Center UIL Academic Participants, Teams Advance to Regionals

March 24, 2022 - The UIL Academics team traveled to Stephen F. Austin State University on Wednesday, March 23, to compete at the District 17AAAA contest. The students did a great job. Below are the results.

Center ISD Cancels School for Tuesday

March 21, 2022 - Due to the impending dangerous storms, extremely heavy rainfall and the potential for flash flooding and road flooding, Center ISD will cancel school for tomorrow, March 22, 2022. We will resume classes on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at our regularly scheduled times.

Center Tennis Has Great Week; Upcoming Schedule

March 21, 2022 - Center High School hosted both Junior Varisty and Varsity level tournaments this past week winning overall 8 first place medals and 5 second place medals.

The Junior Varisty tournament hosted 8 schools on Tuesday, March 15 and the results are as follows:

Boys Singles:
John Ford - 1st place!!
Wade Collard - 4th place
Ayden Smith - won consolation

Girls Singles:
Hollie Herndon - 1st place!!
