January 5, 2022 - The Center Band Boosters invite anyone with an interest in the band program to attend our meetings. All meetings begin at 5:30 in the High School Band Hall.

January 4, 2021 - The following are Center ISD's Outstanding Roughriders for the 2nd Nine Weeks. These students have been recognized by their teachers for being such great examples.
January 4, 2022 - Center High School UIL Academics was awarded a $520 grant for hosting their third Big Question Debate Tournament on December 4. Thirty-seven students participated in the debate, and teachers donated their time to judge.
"It is an event for all the students," Debate coach and UIL Coordinator Douglas Moore said, "We don't let debate kids participate unless they find someone outside of the UIL program to be their partner."
CHS UIL and Debate teams will have a busy spring semester.
December 28, 2021 - Tickets for the Center HS Roughrider boy's basketball away game against Pleasant Grove on Wednesday, December 29th will be sold online. Admission cost is $4 for adult and $2 for student. Nineth grade game starts at 1pm followed by JV (2:45pm) and then varsity (4:15pm).
November 12, 2021 - Center Independent School District is requesting sealed proposals for covered walkway at Center Middle School until 10am on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. At that time, the proposals will be opened and read aloud.
The proposal will be awarded at the next Board meeting at Center Independent School District Central Office located at 107 Private Road 605 Center, Texas.
All proposals should be clearly marked “CMS Covered Walkway”.
November 2, 2021 (Due to the possibility of inclement weather, this event has been moved to November 10) - Center Elementary School invites area veterans to attend their Veteran’s Day event on November 10th in conjunction with the Center High School. This special day will be celebrated with an arrival of a Army Helicopter at 0900 hours. At the same time, Veterans are invited to drive through Center High School for a parade with the High School students cheering on the veterans as they drive thru.
