Center Band Boosters Seek Volunteers

October 5, 2021 - Center Band Boosters is seeking volunteers to work the concession stand this Friday night October, 8 for the football game versus Carthage. Organizers will be there to find a spot for you! Even if it seems there are a lot of people working, please see any volunteer for assistance as some volunteers are only there for that shift. We have plenty of shifts to fill. You can work for an hour, pre-game, after the game, half the game, or the whole night!

Gifted, Talented Program Referrals Open

October 4, 2021 - The Counseling Department of Center ISD is accepting referrals for the Gifted and Talented program until Friday, October 29, 2021 for our annual assessment period. Referral forms can be found on the District website and in the front office of each campus and should be returned either to the campus office or to the administration office.

While the district accepts referrals throughout the year, assessments for students after October 29, 2021 will be on an as-needed basis as determined by the district.

Lady Riders Volleyball Match Highlights

October 4, 2021 - The Lady Riders won in five sets against the Lady Dragons on Tuesday, September 21. The Riders won the first set 25-20 but fell the next two sets 20-25 and 14-25. The Lady Riders refused to concede and fault back to win the last two sets 26-24 and 15-12.

Center Middle School Hosting Pink Out Pep Rally

October 1, 2021 - The Center MS is hosting a Pink Out Pep Rally on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 8am! Parking will be located in the "Parent Pickup" parking lot. Parents will not be allowed to enter the gym until 7:30am.

Lady Riders Volleyball Defeats San Augustine, 4-1

September 22, 2021 - The Center Lady Rider Volleyball team gained retribution as they tamed the San Augustine Lady Wolves once again, September 17. The Lady Riders took the first set over the Lady Wolves 25-20. The Lady Wolves fought back and captured the second set 25-19.

In a close third set the Lady Riders roped another win, 26-24 and completed the fourth set 25-20 to win the match.

Center Lady Riders Beat Jacksonville in Volleyball Matchup

September 15, 2021 - On Tuesday, September 14, the Lady Riders volleyball team won in three sets against Jacksonville. Center took all three sets bringing the match up to a quick end. Center had the first set 25-22 and the second set 25-20. Jacksonville fought hard to stay in the game with the third set but the Riders refused getting the win with a final of 29-27.

The Lady Riders will travel away to compete against San Augustine on Friday, September 17th.
