March 10, 2023 - The Joaquin HS softball game originally scheduled for today March 10, has been rescheduled for tomorrow March 11 at 11am and will be played in Joaquin.
March 9, 2023 - The Joaquin Lady Rams powerlifting team competed at the Region 3 Powerlifting Meet on Saturday, March 4th in Eustace, Texas. Halle Bonner, Riley Mullins, and Emma Barton all represented our school well.
March 8, 2023 - Joaquin ISD congratulations Gifted and Talented Region VII Coop Summer Scholarship winners: Zoey Deas, a 6th grader at Joaquin Jr. High, and Shelby Freeman, an 11th grader at Joaquin High School.
March 7, 2023 - On March 3rd the following Joaquin welding students competed in the Shelby County Build off: Kyla Metcalf, Deakon Kay and PJ Carpenter. They constructed a 14' gate that is now on display at the Joaquin Ag Shop.
February 10, 2023 - Joaquin ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023. The 2021-22 Annual Performance Report/Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) will be discussed during the hearing and input from the community, parents, taxpayers and general public are welcomed.

December 13, 2022 - The Joaquin Junior High School One-Act Play “Once Upon a Playground” competed for district honors at Panola College and received first place. Several students also earned individual awards:

December 13, 2022 - The Joaquin varsity girls basketball game originally scheduled for today has been rescheduled for tomorrow, December 14 at 5pm and will still be played in Shelbyville. The Joaquin boys basketball game originally scheduled for today December 13 has been cancelled.
December 12, 2022 - Maisyn Moore of Joaquin ISD was presented a certificate, a medal and a check for $100 for winning the Voice of Democracy essay contest at the post level during our Veterans Day program.
