March 5, 2019 - The Joaquin HS softball game vs Douglass that was cancelled on this past Saturday, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 6th 4pm at home.

February 26, 2019 - Our Joaquin Local Masonic Lodge nominated JISD 1st graders to receive a Dental Health Program with dental kits from the Fantastic Teeth Club. Today February 26, 2019 we had a great dental program.

February 20, 2019 - The Board conducted a public hearing in accordance with Texas Education Code 39.053 to discuss the District’s educational performance on the Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) during its’ regular February 18th board meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Board Room.

February 11, 2019 - Joaquin ISD board of trustees will hold a public hearing during their regular monthly meeting at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019. The 2017-18 Annual Performance Report/TAPR will be discussed during the hearing and input from the community, parents, taxpayers and general public are welcomed. 

February 8, 2019 - Denise Merriman with Shelby County Child Advocacy along with Happy Bear presented a program on safety to our Pre-k thru 5th graders on February 7, 2019.
