May 3, 2017 - The Joaquin Track team placed third overall at the regional track meet this past weekend in Palestine. Joaquin High School had 6 Boys qualify for the State Meet in Austin Texas on May 11-13.
They following athletes qualified: Justin Hooper in Triple Jump, Keith Johnson in the 300 Hurdles, and the Sprint Relay team that consist of Connor Bragg, Tray Wilkerson, Hunter Gates and Kase Yates.
May 1, 2017 - Joaquin Lady Rams vs. West Sabine Lady Tigers are competing in a best of three Series starting with game one on Friday, May 5th, 6:00 pm at West Sabine High School. Game two is Saturday, May 6th, 2:00 pm at Joaquin High School. Game three, if necessary, will be held thirty minutes following the end of game two. There is no charge for admission.
April 26, 2017 - The JHS BETA Club is raising money to go to our National Convention in Florida this summer. We will have a booth at the Joaquin Farmer's market each Saturday selling used books and baked goods. If you have any used books, any reading level, that you would like to donate, please let me know. Also, please come out on Saturdays from 8:00 to 12:00 noon to purchase books or baked goods. Thanks for your support.

April 21, 2017 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met Monday, April 17, 2017 in regular session at 6:00 p.m. in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Tam Hearnsberger, Thomas Harvey, Jimmy Hamilton, and Jeff Cater. Board members absent were Ronnie Belrose and Bill Mason, Jr.. A guest present was Desere Cooper, Student.
April 13, 2017 - Congratulations to the Joaquin Ram Tennis Team. They competed on Wednesday, April 5 in the District 2A Tennis Meet. Both the boy’s and the girl’s tennis teams won the overall District Championship. n
