Joaquin ISD Substitute Teacher Orientation Training

July 19, 2017 - Joaquin ISD will hold its annual Substitute Teacher Orientation Training on Monday, August 7, 2017, 9am until noon, in the Joaquin High School Professional Development room located at the back of the high school. Please complete an online application found on the district website, www.joaquinisd.net, under the employment opportunities tab on the left. Complete classified application and apply for the open substitute teacher position.

Joaquin ISD Junior High, High School Registration Dates

July 19, 2017 - Please find the registration dates for JJHS/JHS students below:

August 9th, Wednesday -
Junior High 10 am - 12
Senior 1:30 - 3:30 pm

August 10th, Thursday -
Junior 9 am - 11 am
Sophomore 1 - 3 pm

August 11th, Friday -
Freshman 9 am - 11am

High school students will be issued a Chromebook at the time of registration. Insurance will be offered for the device for $25.

June 22, 2017 - The Joaquin ISD School Board met Monday, June 19, 2017 in regular session at 6pm in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Ronnie Belrose (arrived at 6:18 p.m.), Tam Heamsberger, Thomas Harvey, Bill Mason, Jr., and Jeff Cater. Board member absent was Brandon Neal. No guests present. Joaquin ISD employees present were Phil Worsham, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Sherry Scruggs, Elementary Principal; Terri Gray, Jr. High Principal; Bert Coan, Elementary Assistant Principal; and Donna Vergo, Human Resources.

Joaquin Athletic Booster Club Meeting

June 2, 2017 - The Joaquin Athletic Booster Club will be holding a meeting on Monday, June 5th at 6pm in the Joaquin High School library. This will be our meeting to elect new officers and make plans for the upcoming school year.
