August 1, 2017 - August has arrived and the countdown to school starting is here! Center ISD and Center Christian Academy are the first schools to start back on August 14th followed by Joaquin ISD a week later on August 21st, and the remaining schools in the county starting August 28th.

Joaquin ISD Athletic Physicals

July 25, 2017 - Joaquin ISD athletic physicals will be held on Monday, July 31st at 11:00 am in the new gym. This is for all athletes grades 7th-12th who wish to participate in any sport at JISD for the upcoming school year.

Joaquin ISD Substitute Teacher Orientation Training

July 19, 2017 - Joaquin ISD will hold its annual Substitute Teacher Orientation Training on Monday, August 7, 2017, 9am until noon, in the Joaquin High School Professional Development room located at the back of the high school. Please complete an online application found on the district website, www.joaquinisd.net, under the employment opportunities tab on the left. Complete classified application and apply for the open substitute teacher position.

July 19, 2017 - Please find the registration dates for JJHS/JHS students below:

August 9th, Wednesday -
Junior High 10 am - 12
Senior 1:30 - 3:30 pm

August 10th, Thursday -
Junior 9 am - 11 am
Sophomore 1 - 3 pm

August 11th, Friday -
Freshman 9 am - 11am

High school students will be issued a Chromebook at the time of registration. Insurance will be offered for the device for $25.

Board member absent was Brandon Neal. No guests present.
