October 30, 2017 - Joaquin ISD will be holding a Veterans Day Program honoring our veterans on Tuesday, November 7th, 8:30 AM in the High School Gymnasium. The event is open to the public and all veterans and current service members are encouraged to attend. We will be recognizing our veterans during the event and honoring them with a breakfast reception afterwards in the Joaquin High School Library.

November 1, 2017 - The Joaquin Jr. Beta and HS Beta clubs will be sponsoring a canned food drive beginning November 1st. This will benefit the CCS food pantry in Joaquin and help supply families during the holiday season. Items such as canned vegetables/ fruits, boxed dinners, rice and beans may be donated. The food drive will continue until November 17th.
October 30, 2017 - Joaquin ISD will hold a substitute teacher training on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 10am at the Joaquin ISD Administration Building. Joaquin ISD accepts online applications at www.joaquinisd.net, employment opportunities tab. Please complete the application before the training.

October 20, 2017 - Notice is hereby given that on the 23rd day of October, 2017 the Board of Trustees of the Joaquin School District will hold a regular meeting at 6pm, at the Administration building, Joaquin, Texas.
October 6, 2017 - Joaquin ISD received information regarding an anonymous text message from an unknown number containing a potential threat to the school. The authorities were contacted and an investigation is being conducted. Upon initial investigation, it was determined there was no immediate danger to any of your children or Joaquin ISD staff. The anonymous text was not intended for Joaquin ISD. Authorities have contacted the out of state school where it was intended.
