INNOVA is Latin for ‘Renew’

February 4, 2022 - The Center Economic Development Corporation is seeking applications from businesses within the city that want to improve the appeal or make updates to their properties.

The INNOVA Grant seeks to provide financial assistance to any Center business located in downtown, a commercial or industrial zone. The program will reimburse the applicant 50% of qualifying improvements up to a certain dollar amount.

February 8, 2022 - The water on San Augustine Rural WSC no longer requires boiling.

On February 2, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the San Augustine Rural Public Water System, #2030007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Do Not Buy Electronic Tickets for Princess Ball!

February 7, 2022 - It has come to our attention that someone is attempting to sell fake Princess Ball tickets through Facebook and Messenger. Please do not buy any electronic tickets! The actual Princess Ball tickets were sold through the Advocacy Center and at Dazzle Me and are ALL SOLD OUT. If someone contacts you about buying tickets and you are unsure if they are legitimate, please call the Advocacy Center at 936-590-9864.
