June 17, 2019 - The Shelby County Constable Precinct 3 office is reporting on a drug related arrest which was accomplished through combined efforts with the Shelby County Sheriff's office.

June 17, 2019 - According to Shelby County Commissioners' secretary Tracey Strong, the bridge portion of CR 1490 will be closed this week for repair. You will need to find an alternate route if you need to travel across the bridge.

FM 2026, CR 4293 Scene of Major Two-Vehicle Crash

June 17, 2019 - FM 2026 (Folsom Chapel Road) and CR 4293 was the scene of a major two-vehicle head-on collision Sunday, June 16, 2019.

Three were transported by ambulance from the scene for treatment of unknown injuries.

SCSO Seeks Assistance Locating Multiple Suspects

June 13, 2019 - On June 12, 2019, a deputy with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop on County Road 1210 in Center.

From past dealings, the deputy was able to identify the subject as Bradley Fountain, 31, of Center. As the deputy approached the vehicle, the driver and a female passenger fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The deputy pursued the fleeing vehicle, eventually losing sight.

Arson Investigation at Nacogdoches' Wal-Mart

June 10, 2019 Nacogdoches - Just before 1:00 a.m. Monday morning, June 10 Nacogdoches Police and Fire Department personnel responded to a fire at 4810 North St which is also known as Walmart Superstore. Firefighters located a fire in the clothing section of the store that employees were attempting to extinguish with fire extinguishers. Fire crews were able to get the fire extinguished. At this time no individuals are believed to have been injured as a result of the fire.
