The water on San Augustine Rural WSC no longer requires boiling.

August 30, 2023 - On August 28, 2023, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the San Augustine Rural Public Water System, #2030007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

August 14, 2023 - Starting Monday, August 14th the buses will roll out of the Center I.S.D. Transportation Dept. to signal the beginning of the new school year.

July 13, 2023 - The Rotary Club of Center celebrated the completion of their 2022-2023 year on June 26. During the year, the club’s President was Cancee Lester and her service project for her term included utilizing a District grant to install ADA Playground equipment at Portacool Park. Over the year, she built new relationships with Rotary District 5910 helping the club to stay knowledgeable concerning Rotary as a whole.
