May 3, 2022 - The Shelbyville ISD Board of Trustees election will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Due to the state constitutional amendment election held on the same day, we are required by law to hold a joint election with the county. The school board election will NOT be held at the administration office. 

May 3, 2022 - The water on Denning Rural WSC no longer requires boiling.

On April 26, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Denning Rural Water Supply, #2030004, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

April 29, 2022 – Southwestern Electric Power Co., an American Electric Power (Nasdaq: AEP) company, today announced the company is implementing a fuel surcharge to recover costs associated with the February 2021 winter storm. The surcharge will go into effect April 29, 2022, for Texas customers, as approved by the Public Utility Commission of Texas.
