August 14, 2023 - Starting Monday, August 14th the buses will roll out of the Center I.S.D. Transportation Dept. to signal the beginning of the new school year.

July 28, 2023 - Tenaha ISD is extremely excited and honored to share that this past week, our district was informed by the Texas Music Education Association (TMEA) Band Division President that our high school band was chosen to be an "Invited Program Spotlight" at the 2024 TMEA Convention.

July 13, 2023 - The Rotary Club of Center celebrated the completion of their 2022-2023 year on June 26. During the year, the club’s President was Cancee Lester and her service project for her term included utilizing a District grant to install ADA Playground equipment at Portacool Park. Over the year, she built new relationships with Rotary District 5910 helping the club to stay knowledgeable concerning Rotary as a whole.

May 15, 2023 - Shelbyville High School introduces the graduating class of 2023. Commencement ceremonies will be held at 7pm on Friday, May 26 in the main gym.
