November 30, 2022 – East Texans can be proud to know that when it comes to patient safety, Nacogdoches Medical Center (NMC) is at the top among hospitals nationwide. This fall, NMC has received an ‘A’ Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. This national distinction celebrates Nacogdoches Medical Center’s achievements in protecting hospital patients from preventable harm and errors.
November 2, 2022 - A ‘Get Out the Vote Rally’ featuring Congressional Candidate Judge Nathaniel Moran and Shelby County Elected Officials on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 10am at the Shelby County Historic Courthouse Square.
November 1, 2022 - There will be a book signing event at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library November 5th from 10am till 2pm for "The Feasts of John" by author Dan Fleming.
October 31, 2022 - Phil Calvert is a candidate for a seat on the Center Independent School District Board. I have reason to believe that Phil Calvert would be a VALUABLE asset on the School Board where he can utilize his unique abilities to analyze complex issues and provide innovative solutions.
The water on San Augustine Rural WSC no longer requires boiling.
October 31, 2022 - On October 26, 2022, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the San Augustine Rural Public Water System, #2030007, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
